for your business, keep in mind that you'll be reimbursed for a
large portion of the initial cost.
Focus on Energy
Grants
If your business is located in the State of Wisconsin
and your solar system will be offsetting natural gas or
electric, you may be eligible for cash back on your investment
through Focus on Energy.

Eligible
businesses will receive:

50
percent off a
commercial solar site
assessment. Site assessments are
designed to give business owners site-specific
information about how renewable
energy systems can help meet their
energy needs.

Up to
25
percent cash
back on your project
cost, with a maximum reward of
$2,500 for small systems and a
maximum reward of $50,000 for
systems that produce over 250 therms per year.
Incentives for nonprofit or local government
projects may be approved for up to 35
percent.

Federal Tax
Credits
In
addition to
state incentives, the federal government offers
significant tax credits to businesses investing in solar
hot water, PV and other renewable energy
systems.
Businesses
installing a renewable energy system will get 30% of the cost
of the system credited back on their tax
bill.
