Focus on Energy Rewards

If you live in the State of Wisconsin and your solar system will be offsetting your existing natural gas or electric service, you may be eligible for cash back on your investment through Focus on Energy.

Eligible homeowners will receive:

• A 60% reduction in solar site assessment costs

• Up to $2,500 cash back on your solar installation

• Owners of Wisconsin ENERGY STAR® Homes and existing homes that have participated in the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Program are eligible for a $500 bonus toward the cost of their solar electric or solar hot water system. (http://www.energystar.gov/)

 Federal Tax Credits

In addition to state incentives, the federal government offers significant tax credits to homeowners investing in solar hot water, PV and other renewable energy systems.

Beginning in January, 2009 homeowners will get 30% of the cost of their renewable energy system sliced off their tax bill.
